Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) Scholarship

The Palmetto Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is sponsoring a $2000 scholarship for a business or IT student who is interested in a career in internal auditing.  This is a one-time award.

AICPA/Accountemps Scholarship

The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants® and Accountemps are delighted to announce the 2015 AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship award! We are offering $10,000 scholarships to four selected applicants who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate-level degree in an accounting-related major.

The scholarships will be awarded based on outstanding academic achievement, leadership activities and future career interests. To be eligible, you must be all of the following:

  • An AICPA student affiliate member
  • A student who maintains an overall and major GPA of at least 3.0
  • Planning to pursue a CPA licensure
  • A student who has satisfactorily completed at least 30 semester hours (or equivalent), including at least six (6) semester hours in accounting
  • Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or master's level student at an accredited college or university in the United States

South Carolina Association of CPAs Educational Fund Inc. Scholarship

The SCACPA is accepting applications for the SCACPA Educational Fund Inc. Scholarship.  Eligible students are legal residents of South Carolina; a rising junior or senior majoring in accounting (or a Master's Degree student) at a South Carolina college or university; are enrolled full-time; have taken at least one class in intermediate accounting or the equivalent; hold a GPA of no less than 3.25 overall and a GPA of no less than 3.5 in accounting.

Application packets must include college transcripts; a list of scholarships, awards and/or grants with amounts indicated for each; two letters of reference; a resume; an essay on the applications personal career goals in 250 words or less; and certification from the Head of the Accounting School that you are an accounting major and a rising junior, senior, or master's student.

All applications must be postmarked by June 1, 2015 and mailed to South Carolina Association of CPAs, Educational Fund Inc. Trustees, 1330 12th street, Suite D, Cayce, SC, 29033.
