The Darla Moore School of Business has a strong global alumni network of more than 39,000 working in a variety of sectors. As a graduate of the Moore School, you will have access to this great resource, in addition to other resources provided by the School.
Various methods are employed to facilitate job placement for the Moore School students, all managed by USC JobMate, USC’s custom online recruiting program. The focus is on customer service, and in this role, the employer is the customer. This employer focus, however, also benefits students because solid relationships are built and maintained with key corporate, government, and non-profit entities. The following methods are the most common:
This process is the traditional method of employers visiting campus to personally interview pre-selected candidates.
On-campus Information Sessions/Receptions
This type of event is designed to introduce employers, available positions, and career paths and opportunities to targeted student populations. These events provide students an excellent opportunity to learn about specific industries and companies. In addition, these are often key networking events leading to future job opportunities.
This process allows employers to post positions for which students apply, although the employer's intentions may not be to initially visit campus. Often, if employers identify strong candidates meeting their criteria, they follow up directly via telephone or on-site interviews.

All students active with USC JobMate can upload a general resume that is published in the Office of Career
Management Web Resume Book(s). The books are easily accessible to employers who have access to USC JobMate.
