Center for Advancement of Accounting
In March 2004, the Center for the Advancement of Accounting (CAA) was created with the assistance of the Friends of Accounting (FAD) to increase awareness and promote private support of the School of Accounting. The overall mission of the Center is consistent with the School of Accounting's education mission, which includes:
assisting in providing technology upgrades for faculty and student use.
engaging in education program development.
sponsoring events and programs featuring professional and academic speakers.
providing reference materials for departmental and student use.
There are several recognition levels for contributors to the CAA. These include:
Platinum - gifts of $2,500 and above.
Gold - gifts of $1,000 to $2,499
Silver - gifts of $500 - $999
Bronze - gifts of $250 - $499
Contributors to the CAA will be listed annually in Reflections, the School of Accounting's annual alumni and student magazine; will be recognized on a plaque in the School of Accounting; and will be listed on this Web site. A PDF version of the
Center for the Advancement of Accounting's gift card
is attached.
The School of Accounting is very thankful to the CAA contributors who supported the Center from its inception in March 2004 through June 30, 2007. Gifts reflected are for the highest level of giving for any one year during that time period.
