Pre-Matriculation

All IMBA students come together to attend the IMBA Orientation Program which typically begins the last week of June.  All events are mandatory and are held at the Darla Moore School of Business in Columbia, SC.

During the Orientation Program, you will be greeted by the dean of the business school and other senior leaders and faculty. You will be introduced to key staff members and be instructed on general policies of the University of South Carolina and the International MBA program.

And...you will also have fun!  Students will participate in intense team building activities, community service projects, and the Moore Professional Series, offered by the school's Office of Career Management.

Core business classes begin the first week of July. Students will register and pay program fees for courses using the USC VIP system.

Prior to the start of the IMBA program, there are several items students should be aware of:

  1. Please make sure that we have received your offical GMAT test scores, TOEFL scores, and all official transcripts (with degree posted). This material should be sent to: Darla Moore School of Business, Graduate Admissions, 1705 College St., Columbia, SC 29208.
  2. A completed Immunization Form should have been submitted to the Thomson Student Health Center.
  3. Your passport should be active, up-to-date, and have several blank pages available.
  4. Students should have completed all pre-program assignments distributed by the IMBA Program team.

International students entering the International MBA program should plan to arrive on campus the week before the formal IMBA orientation for a mandatory orientation with USC's International Student Services Office.
