Jimmy Burkett
|
Biography Jimmy Burkett, Managing Director of the Master of Accountancy and Master of Taxation Programs at the University of South Carolina, holds a Master of Taxation degree from the University of South Carolina. His duties as director of the graduate accounting programs include recruiting, advising and placement of graduate accounting students, as well as, maintaining the SOA relationships with the firms that recruit USC graduates. He also teaches courses in indivdiual, corporation and partnership taxation. He is past chairman of the Accounting Careers/Academic Relations committee of the SC Association of CPAs and is a retired founding principal of Burkett, Burkett & Burkett CPAs PA.
