Biography Debbie Brumbaugh currently serves as the Managing Director, Office of Budget and Procurement for the Moore School of Business. In addition to serving in her financial capacity, Debbie has taught accounting courses for the Moore School since 1993 as an adjunct instructor. She has over 33 years of state government and higher education experience as a Director of Accounting, Budget Officer, Controller, and Financial Officer. Throughout her professional career, she has presented at numerous seminars throughout the southeast on various accounting topics. Debbie has taught fund accounting seminars to college and university business officers throughout the southeast region for the National Association of Colleges and Universities Business Officers (NACUBO). She has taught professional staff development courses for the USC Human Resources Division on Financial Reporting, Management Reporting, Accounts Payable, and Accounting Concepts. She has served on the GASB 34 Advisory Committee for the South Carolina State Comptroller’s General Office and is a current member of the South Carolina Governmental Finance Officers Association. She has been recognized for both her contributions to the accounting profession and for her role in teaching. She is a prior winner of the USC Professional Employee of the Year and has been recognized for three consecutive years for her outstanding service and instruction of students with disabilities and special needs. She and her husband, Joe, live in Blythewood, SC and have two sons, Joseph and John. Education:
