Homecoming Game Day Party 2005

300-Plus Moore Alums Attend Homecoming Party

More than 300 alumni from the Moore School joined Cocky and hundreds of alums from other USC colleges at the 2005 Homecoming Game Day Party Oct. 22. "It was a huge crowd from the Moore School," said Patrick D. Hanly, Moore's alumni director.

The festivities were held at the South Carolina National Guard Armory in Columbia. The event was catered by Troncos, which is owned and operated by David Martin, who earned his bachelor's degree in marketing from the Moore School in 1992. Music was provided by the Men of Distinction.

It was more than perfect weather that made it a perfect day. The USC Gamecocks beat Vanderbilt 35-28 on a touchdown with 1 minute, 41 seconds to go in the game.
