Recruiting Methods

Delivering Moore Talent to your Organization

At Moore, we are committed to meeting your talent needs—we've developed a range of recruiting options to satisfy your recruiting budget and schedule. We use a custom online recruiting application,  USC JobMate, to manage most requests. We are an MBAFocus Partner School—resumes for our International MBA and MHR students are also available by request through MBA Focus.

On-Campus Recruiting

Interviewing

Traditional method for employers to visit campus personally to meet pre-selected candidates using the following steps and ideal timeline:

  • 4 weeks prior to interview date, students view your job descriptions on USC JobMate.
  • 3 weeks prior, resumes of students who have applied for your position(s) are sent to you via e-mail.
  • 2 weeks prior, you provide us names of candidates you wish to interview and students sign-up for timeslots.

Standard 45-minute schedule = 9 interviews per day

Standard 30-minute schedule = 13 interviews per day

Interviews begin at 8:30 a.m. unless a different start time is requested.

In addition, telephone or video-conference screening is available.

Information Sessions and Receptions

Interest-Generating Sessions

This type of information session/reception is usually scheduled 4-5 weeks prior to  on-campus interviews. The purpose is to introduce your available positions to targeted students.  This is especially important in creating campus awareness, if you have not previously recruited at Moore.

Pre-Interview Sessions

Many employers prefer to conduct information sessions/receptions the night before an interview date. Information sessions allow you to tell your organization's story one time, so interview time is better spent on candidates.

To schedule your on-campus recruiting event , please click here, create an account (pre-paid/free of charge to you) or log-in to your existing account  and complete our On-Campus Recruiting Request or contact  our staff for assistance. You can also review travel information for your campus visit.

Resume Collections and Searches

We know it is not always feasible to schedule a visit to campus. We invite you to request a Resume Collection or complete a Resume Search, to review Moore School talent for your positions.

To request a resume collection and post your available position(s), or to begin a resume search, please click here, create an account (pre-paid/free of charge to you) or log-in to your existing account and complete our "Non On-Campus Recruiting" Request (Non OCR) or contact  our staff for assistance.

You can build your search requirements, such as concentration area, unique skill sets, language proficiency and other criteria, through USC JobMate and download resumes directly. If you are seeking graduate students, you may also order our resume book on MBA Focus at no cost.

If you prefer, we can complete this search on your behalf. For more information, please contact our staff.

Positions are posted in  USC JobMate and students "apply", if interested. Resumes are downloaded and sent to you in one bundle or candidates can reply directly to an e-mail address or URL, whichever you prefer.

Our primary objective is to provide superior service while accommodating the specific needs and requests of our valued employers. We look forward to partnering with you as you source your future leadership talent.
