Pre-Program Assignments

During the first quarter of the year, you will be notified by E-mail when required assignments such as an Excel PowerUser Exercise, Accounting Module, resume template and summer reading are posted here. You will need to have these assignments completed prior to the start of the IMBA program. You should not wait until the week of orientation to work on these assignments . . . they should be completed before you arrive in Columbia for IMBA Orientation. Please continue to check this page frequently, it will be updated as pre-program assignments become available.

Core course section assignments and registration information was emailed on 5-30-08, if you did not receive this email, please contact Allyson Hearn at allyson@moore.sc.edu.
Dr. Philipoom requires that all entering IMBA students complete the Excel PowerUser Exercise at the following link and have all quizzes submitted by the date indicated:  Link to Excel Workshop
Please complete the Accounting Module at the attached link. Hard copies of the quizzes should be brought to the DMSB 710 class on the first day per Dr. Bailey.

Rosetta Stone Foreign Language Tutorial Requirement. IMBA admitted students should have received email concerning this requirement. Incoming language track students will receive their URL and password to Rosetta Stone the week of April 21st.
Required summer reading for DMSB 722 for Dr. Spicer is: The World is Flat: A Brief History of the 21st Century, by Thomas Friedman, 2006.
The Career Management Office requires that you submit your resume in their template format. Please click the attached link, prepare your resume and bring it with you to IMBA orientation, June 30, 2008. (Click here for template and instructions.)
