Welcome Incoming International MBA Class!

Congratulations on your decision to attend the Moore School of Business International MBA Program at the University of South Carolina. We are looking forward to the new school year for the International MBA Class. In preparation for the start of your program, please familiarize yourself with materials in the Incoming Student Folder. We have covered, by track in numerical order of importance , everything you will need to do and know to begin the program. Start navigating the site by first clicking on your track in the chart below. You may also navigate the site by clicking the Quick Links at the top of the template. Your program begins with a week of orientation. All orientation activities are mandatory. As the start date of the IMBA approaches, pre-program assignments, readings, etc. will be posted on the Pre-Orientation page, so please check it regularly. This information will also be e-mailed to the address given on your application for admission. Please keep the IMBA office updated, should that e-mail address change.

(1) Language or Global Track
Begin by clicking on the track to which you have been admitted and read the Welcome Letter from the IMBA Program.

(2) Financial Aid Information
If you will be applying for federal financial aid please read this section. There are deadlines associated with this process. Only U.S. citizens are eligible for federal loans.

(3) Immunizations
All entering graduate students are required to complete an immunization form before enrolling in classes.

(4) Laptop
Students in the IMBA program are required to have a laptop computer. Please read this section for specific laptop requirements.

(5) Internationals
International students must present information to the International Programs Office in order to receive I-20 documentation.

(6) Start Dates
The IMBA program follows a unique timeline. Start and end dates differ from the main USC calendar.

(7) Core Schedule/Booklist
The IMBA core is a specifically designed lock-step curriculum.

(8) Core Course Faculty 
Core course listings with a brief overview of each course and faculty member contact information and bio.

(9) Course Sequence
The IMBA program is a 68 degree credit hour program which contains specific course requirements as well as a selection of elective courses.

(10) Course Registration
Please use the information provided on this page to register for your courses using the USC VIP system.

(11) Fees
IMBA students pay a Program Fee rather than USC per credit hour tuition.

(12) Joint Degree Fees
Students pursuing the joint IMBA/JD degree pay fees according to the year they are admitted into the IMBA program.

(13) Paying Fees
Students must pay their program fee by the first day of class each semester. This process is done through the USC VIP system.

(14) Housing
There are on-campus and off-campus housing options available to incoming students.

(15) Policies/Procedures
The IMBA program adheres to USC Graduate School Policies as well as a set of IMBA specific Academic Regulations.
