2007 IMBA Photo Competition Winners
More than 400 photos were submitted for the 2007 IMBA Photo Contest. Photos were taken in
2006 during the students' time abroad and were submitted in four categories: Conceptual/Artistic,
Experiences, People, and Places. The winning contestants are
Levi Dunton,
Erik Ehinger,
Shirly Mani, and
Richard Rowland, III – all members of the IMBA Class of 2007. The images
capture the diverse and culturally rich experiences IMBA students enjoy during the IMBA
Program. The photo contest was initiated in 2005. The winning photos in each category

“Camel Ride Home” won for the Conceptual/Artistic category.
The picture was taken in Morocco by Shirly Mani, Spanish Track, Class of 2007.
Shirly interned with Ritz Carlton in Barcelona.

"Sunset in Erg Chebbi" won for the Experiences category. Photographer, Levi
Dunton, Global Track, Class of 2007 caught Shirly Mani enjoying the sunset in Erg Chebbi,
Morocco. Levi participated in an extended Arabic language and cultural training program
in Morocco.

"Barbarians at the Gate" won for the People category. Photographer, Richard Rowland,
III, Global Track, Class of 2007 features some of the global track students in Koblenz,
Germany. Rick interned with Inphonic in India.

"Eiffel Toast" won for the Places category. Note the reflection in the glasses taken
by Erik Ehinger, German Track, Class of 2007. Erik interned with PPG in Europe.
