Bio: After growing up between Kansas and Mexico, I completed my senior
year of high school on an exchange to Spain. In 2001, I moved to Washington, DC where I
attended the George Washington University, graduating with a degree in International Affairs,
concentrating in Latin American and East Asian studies. I then spent two years working at a law
firm in the international arbitration and international regulatory compliance practice groups.
I decided to come to the Moore School because of its focus on both language and business.
While several other schools offer an internatinal focus, none of the other schools I investigated
would allow me to study abroad and spend an extended period fo time learning another language.
Special interests/hobbies/skills: In my spare time, I enjoy hiking, cycling,
cooking, reading almost anything, watching independent films and traveling anywhere I can get a
plane ticket to. I am also an active volunteer with the American Field Service (AFS), a high
school exchange organization, serving as a liaison to students living with families here in the
U.S. and interviewing American students who would like to study abroad.
