The Master of Accountancy (MACC) program is designed for students who have an undergraduate degree in accounting from an accredited college or university. The additional education provides the opportunity to specialize in a particular field of accounting, complete the professional examinations while in school, and meet the specific educational requirements to qualify for the CPA designation in some states. Although this program is a natural extension of study for students who have completed an undergraduate degree in accounting, it is open to anyone who satisfies the school's admission standards regardless of their undergraduate major.
We suggest that you begin your search for information about the MACC program by visiting the Frequently Asked Questions page.
The MACC program will have a showcase event October 16-17, 2008. The showcase event allows you to meet current students and faculty in an informal atmosphere. In addition there will be an information session specifically about the MACC program (Business Measurement & Assurance and Taxation Tracks), an introduction to our Office of Career Management, a faculty panel, a current student and alumni panel, and a tour of the Moore School of Business and USC campus. Lunch will also be provided at no charge. This is an excellent opportunity to find out more about the MACC program from faculty, staff, current students and alumni. Click on Showcase Information for additional information and to register.
