John E. Logan

Biography John E. Logan earned his B.S.B.A. degree from Northwestern University in 1962 and his Ph.D. from Columbia University in 1969. He has taught at the University of Toledo, the University of Virginia, and Pontificana Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. He has been on the faculty of the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina since 1969. His research is in the areas of Social Issues in Management/Business Ethics, Entrepreneurship, and Strategic Management. He is a Past-President of the Southern Management Association and a past member of the Board of Governors of the Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management. Professor Logan teaches four graduate courses: Strategic Management, The Firm and Its
Environment, Small Business Management, and Innovation and New Venture Analysis. He also
teaches Strategic Management at the undergraduate level.
