Biography Ron Sebeczek teaches Strategic Management in the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. He earned an M.B.A. degree with Corporate Finance and Strategic Management concentrations from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received a B.A. degree with majors in International Business and Spanish at Illinois State University. Mr. Sebeczek’s professional business career involved working at JPMorgan Chase Card Services in Wilmington, Delaware where he carried out numerous budgetary, forecasting, product launch, and managerial responsibilities. Mr. Sebeczek also worked at Robert Bosch Corporation in Chicago, Illinois where he analyzed product line, customer, and vendor profitability and was in charge of consolidating Canadian and Mexican division financial reports. Further, he worked at Suncast Corporation in Batavia, Illinois as a material management coordinator. In this position, Mr. Sebeczek supervised and trained Spanish-speaking personnel to maintain optimal inventory levels and developed processes to achieve maximum performance in just-in-time production. His teaching interests include strategic management, international business, and corporate
finance. Other interests include the socio-political influences on strategy and international
business as well as environmental sustainability.
