Scott Turner

Biography Scott Turner is an assistant professor of management in the Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. Before joining the Moore School, he was an assistant professor at the University of Maryland and held adjunct and visiting positions at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Duke University. He holds a B.S. degree in civil engineering from Clemson University, an M.S. degree in industrial administration from Purdue University, and a Ph.D. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Turner conducts research in the areas of innovation, change and organizational routines. He is also interested in the emerging area of social entrepreneurship, focusing on the creation and development of new markets in the recycling sector. Industries of particular interest include solid waste management and computer software. His teaching has focused on strategic management at the undergraduate and masters levels. Education
