Biography
Mun Yi is an
associate professor of management science at the University of South Carolina
Moore School of Business, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in information
systems. He holds a Ph.D. in information systems from University of Maryland, College Park and a
M.S. in computer information systems from Georgia State University.
Dr. Yi's research is about understanding and overcoming various key impediments to maximizing
the productivity potential of information systems, focusing on computer skill acquisition and
training and information technology adoption and diffusion. His research has previously appeared in
journals such as
Information Systems Research, Decision Sciences, Journal of Applied Psychology,
Information & Management, and
International Journal of Human-Computer Studies. Dr. Yi is currently serving as
an associate editor on the editorial board of the
MIS Quarterly and the
International Journal of Human-Computer Studies .
