Student Organizations

Carolina Finance Club

If you have come in the past and were turned off by the dues, you should be glad to hear that we are reducing our dues.  We decided to discontinue our chapter affiliation with FMA International, which vastly reduces our required dues.

We are now affiliated with the Moore Finance Club- the IMBA program's finance club.  This is a great organization, and we are excited about the opportunity to meet the speakers that they will provide.

Our Mission

The Carolina Finance Club (CFC) is a student driven and oriented organization that seeks to cultivate world-class investment management professionals through the use of mentoring programs and practical application techniques.   CFC activities are designed to generate cross-pollination between the investment industry’s top firms and future industry professionals.  CFC members will learn and understand the types of skill sets that top tier firms seek when recruiting interns and new associates.  The investment world seeks disciplined leaders who thrive on multi-task challenges.

Why Should You Be A Part of CFC?

The CFC’s success hinges on student participation and commitment.  In order to prove that the Moore School of Business students can compete with students from other top tier business programs, credibility standards between programs must coincide.    CFC activities are designed to establish and maintain credibility standards that will place program participants and the University of South Carolina’s finance program among our nation’s best.  This club is a great way to network yourself and establish many professional contacts.

How Can You Join?
