2007-08 Goals
Goal #1: SHRM Superior Merit Award
Our goal is to be a SHRM Superior Merit Award recipient. In order to achieve this we intend to:
- Continue to create a SHRM newsletter to be distributed to MHR students, faculty and staff. There will be at least three (3) issues of this newsletter.
- Maintain a SHRM Web site, which will be updated periodically.
- Plan to have at least six (6) speakers who will speak at our chapter meetings.
- Plan to have at least two (2) socials.
- Engage in company visits and job shadowing projects.
- Participate in community service activities.
- Create a resume book, which will include the resumes of all SHRM members.
Goal #2: Increase Chapter Membership
Our goal is to increase chapter membership. In order to achieve this goal, we intend to:
- Continue to recruit members within the MHR program.
- Actively recruit members from the undergraduate HR program.
- Extend a general membership invitation to Moore School of Business.
- Partner with other business organizations to spark interest.
