Ph.D. in Economics Deadlines and Entry Dates

All complete application packages must be received by January 15. The department usually begins making admissions decisions after that date, but interested students are encouraged to submit their application materials as early as possible. To see if the department is still accepting applications after January 15, please contact Dr. Melayne McInnes (mcinnes@moore.sc.edu). Admitted applicants are given until April 15 to accept or decline the admission and funding offers.

The Ph.D. in Economics program is of a lock-step nature during the first year of course work. All doctoral classes begin in the fall term.

The Economics Department anticipates admitting students next for the 2010-2011 academic year.
