
The Moore School's 20th anniversary of honoring our alumni and other friends at the annual Business Leadership Dinner was held on Friday, April 29, in The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.
Five alumni and friends were honored at the dinner as 2005 Distinguished Award recipients. They are Jose Joaquin Mora, international vice president of Latin America and Puerto Rico for Johnson & Johnson; Olin S. Pugh, distinguished professor emeritus, Moore School of Business; J. Michelle Childs, commissioner, South Carolina Workers Compensation Commission; Luis Federico Deza, vice president, Nextel del Peru; and William B. Timmerman, chairman, president, and CEO of SCANA Services, Inc.
The festivities began at 6:30 p.m. for cocktails, and dinner started at 7:30 p.m. See the Photo Gallery for pictures of the event.
