| (Left to right) Susie Gorsage, administrative specialist in the Management Department at the Moore School, Carla Carll (MHR ’08), and Moore School Dean Hildy Teegen are pictured with a plaque containing a special flag dedicated to Ms. Gorsage’s son John, and to Ms. Carll’s brother Curtis Jackson. The flag was flown on a United States F-15E plane on a combat mission over Afghanistan on March 23, 2008, at the request of Jason Perez (MHR ’07). Perez is currently a major in the U.S. Army. John Gorsage is just returning from Afghanistan and Curtis Jackson is currently back home after being wounded in Afghanistan. Carll has a second brother, who is in the Marines and is currently serving in Iraq. The presentation of the flag plaque was made May 8 during hooding ceremonies for Moore School Master’s students who were to graduate the next day. Carll was one of those students. | A close-up of the plaque containing the flag. | |
