Finalist in 2005 Robert Ferber Award competition


Dr. David Crockett Dr. David Crockett, Assistant Professor of Marketing, has been selected as an honorable mention finalist in the 2005 Robert Ferber Award competition for his article, "The Role of Normative Political Ideology in Consumer Behavior." The article appeared in the December 2004 issue of the Journal of Consumer Research.

The Robert Ferber Award is presented annually by the Association for Consumer Research for research based on a dissertation published in the Journal of Consumer Research (JCR), the association's quarterly publication. From the top 15 dissertation- based articles selected by the JCR editorial board, the Ferber Award Committee then chooses one winner and three honorable mention finalists.

This marks the second consecutive year an assistant professor from the Moore School's department of marketing has received an honorable mention for theĀ  Ferber Award, one of the most prestigious in the field.
