Moore Finance Club promotes Collegiate Click Drive
The Moore Finance Club is promoting the Collegiate Click Drive to benefit Oxfam America and invites
the Moore School community to join the effort. Now through March 30, when you visit the
PovertyFighters Web page and click twice daily, corporate sponsors will donate 50 cents to help
fight poverty and fund microfinance loans worldwide. Microfinance loans are a means of providing
small-scale financial support to poor people to improve their quality of life. Oxfam America is a
nonprofit dedicated to ending world poverty.
You may click up to twice a day per computer on behalf of the University. The PovertyFighters site will report daily totals for each school. To participate in the Oxfam American Collegiate Click Drive,
1) Go to www.povertyfighters.com.
2) Scroll to "University of South Carolina" and click on
"Set My College" to choose USC as your school.
3) Next, click on large blue letters "Click to Donate"--you've just donated 25 cents on behalf of USC!
4) At the bottom of the new page, click on "Click Twice Daily"--you've just donated another 25 cents for microfinance loans ($.050 total).
Remember to visit each day and click twice to support the University-wide effort, but more importantly, to direct corporate contributions to a good cause.
