Undergraduate business students Lauren Anderson and Ramit Dugal attended Harvard University’s China-India Development and Relations Symposium held March 30-April 2 in New York City.
According to
Anderson, “Speakers from the East-West Center, the UN, the Worldwatch Institute, and many other
institutions that focus on foreign affairs gave presentations about topics ranging from corruption
and human rights to sustainability and political development. Many professors from the most
prestigious institutions in the world spoke of their research and experiences, and gave students
the opportunity to ask them questions and personally speak to them afterwards. Most attendees were
in Ivy League graduate schools or recent graduates of them, but I still felt proud to represent the
undergraduate program at Moore School of Business. Attending the conference sparked my interest in
many issues I knew little about and also gave me the connections with professionals to pursue
internships/research regarding these interesting topics.”
