The Moore School of Business, University of
South Carolina, is one of 45 business schools worldwide rated highly for its MBA program by the
readers of
Latin Trade magazine. The rating is the result of an online survey of the magazine’s
readers; it was published in the October 2007 issue.
Moore and the 44 other schools (15 of which are in the United States) "rated highly on seven key questions relating to academic experience, relevance to their [ the reader’s] career, and the value they have seen in completing an MBA from that institution," the magazine said.
The ratings are designed to help students "find the right business school for an MBA," according to the magazine. The online survey elicited responses from 7,117 readers.
"The [Moore School] program’s strengths are in the faculty, foreign language and culture training as well as international internships," Latin Trade said. "If your goal is to work on Wall Street, this isn’t the school for you. If your goal is to do something different, travel the world, learn a language, Moore is a great choice."
The above quote and other quotes in the article "are consolidated from real comments from our readers," the magazine said.
Some of the other American business schools rated included Harvard, Thunderbird, Northwestern, and Dartmouth.
Latin Trade is monthly magazine based in Florida that advertises itself as "your business
source for Latin America."
