The UofSC Office of Research is holding workshops all summer long to help students utilize their research experience to its full potential and prepare for applying to graduate school.

UofSC graduates celebrate May commencement

Thousands of University of South Carolina students from around the system will participate in annual spring commencement ceremonies, with USC Columbia ceremonies taking place Friday, May 11 and Saturday, May 12 in the Colonial Life Arena.

Stand Up Paddle Boarding

Yiming Ji

Breakthrough Leader: Yiming Ji

Trained as an aerospace engineer, Yiming Ji worked in the aerospace industry for several years before returning to school to study computer science. Inspired by the idea to train others to integrate computer science and engineering as he had done, Ji founded the computational science program at USC Beaufort, the only one of its kind in South Carolina.
