Through the unique electives offered by the UofSC honors college, I was able to explore various subjects and make the strong interdisciplinary connections needed in industry today.

Story:
One of the main reasons I was drawn to UofSC was the small class sizes in honors classes. This allowed students and faculty to develop a real professional relationship and also made class more interactive and engaging. I always felt comfortable asking questions about concepts I didn't understand or even getting life advice from my honors professors. One professor, in particular, Dr. Mustain, is someone I talked to for career guidance. In fact, after discussing my post-graduation goals and plans with him, I ultimately made the decision to apply for graduate school. I hope to keep in touch with Dr. Mustain and the other influential professors I was fortunate to learn from as I embark on my higher education journey!

Post-graduate plans:
After graduation, Varsha plans to attend graduate school but has not decided on a school yet! She hopes to travel before joining a program in the fall though.
