Management Science Department

Undergraduate Program


Currently, there are three tracks within the Management Science Major.  The Business Information Systems Track requires 21 hours, The Business Information Management Track requires 12 hours and  The Global Supply Chain and Operations Management (GSCOM) Track requires 12 hours to complete.  

Business Information System Track (21 hours)

MGSC 298/CSCE 204, MGSC 390, 490, 494, 590, 596 (18 hours)
One of the following courses: MGSC 398/CSCE 304, MGSC 405, 594 (3 hours)

 

Business Information Management Track  (12 hours)

The BIM Track consists of a total 4-course sequence.  The track has 2 required courses; MGSC 390  & MGSC 394 (6 hours).  The BIM Track aslo requires any two courses from the following list:  MGSC 405, 490, 494, 499, 590, 594 596 (6 hours)

 

Global Supply Chain and Operations Management (GSCOM) Track  (12 hours) 

The GSCOM Track consists of the following 4-course sequence: MGSC 394, 491, 495 (9 hours). One of the following courses with the permission of the area coordinator: BADM 499, MGSC 525, 591 596 (3 hours)
